Kathy with Miss Doris, whose house we are raising. Actually, the house is already jacked up out of the floodplain. We're just doing the excavatng and shoring so the new foundation can be built. But Miss Doris is so unimaginably happy that we're helping her that it is incredibly gratifying. Kathy spend much of her afternoon weeding Miss Doris' flower beds, while Danika, Kendra, abd Tabitha picked up the construction trash and removed nails and screws from the re-used buildiing materials. After only 3 days of our attention, the place begins to look less like a dsaster area and more like an about-to-be-home place.

" Is it a coincidence that "dog" is "God" spelled backwards? ArchivesCategories |
