Studying the Confessions of 1967 and the Belhar Confession
Sunday Morning Class for all:
Over the next four weeks we will take the opportunity to look closer at both the Confession of 1967 (May 22 & 29) and The Belhar Confession (June 5 & 12) during a Sunday morning class (9-10am).
Above, you will find both of these confessions. The Confession of 1967 is an inclusive language version. The Belhar Confession is accompanied by an excellent study guide and references for the biblical basis of this confession. These are for you to review as you'd like before the class but it is not required as we will cover things together. Print copies of the Confessions will be available at the class.
I pray that these are intriguing and inspiring to you as you ponder them and the work of reconciliation that God has called all of us to engage. I look forward to discussing this together.
